This helicopter was moved to Uetersen/ Heist (EDHE) in Schleswig Holstein, located on the military airfield about 30kms west of Hamburg, where it was preserved with the Luftwaffen Museum since ?
This museum was founded in 1956 on a private basis, with the first aircraft arriving in the 1960s. In the early 1970's two hangars at Uetersen were provided to the museum. This museum was a part of the Bundeswehr and has been set under the command of the Militargeschichtliches Forschungsamt (MGFA) at Freiburg since 1987.
Noted during 2005 stored as owned by the Luftwaffen Museum der Bundeswehr in Berlin Gatow since ? inside Hangar 3 as preserved and had been moved into Hangar 7 for public viewing by 2006.
This museum had a change of name to the Militar Historisches Museum (MHM) Berlin Gatow since October 1, 2011.
